Contest pages may be indexed by search engines to help families discover the contest. However, your baby's photo is protected by our watermark and only associated with their first name — never last names, family details, or contact information. You can withdraw your entry anytime to remove it completely.

Yes. All members must: verify email addresses, agree to community guidelines, are tracked with IP and device info, and suspicious activity triggers account review. We actively monitor and ban users who violate policies.

We use enterprise-level security: SSL/TLS encryption for all data transmission, encrypted database storage, secure AWS cloud hosting, PCI-compliant payment processing, regular security audits, limited internal access controls, and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and privacy best practices.

Complete purge of all personal data including photos, voting history, and account information is completed within 30 days. Financial transaction records are retained only as required by applicable tax and legal regulations.

Our platform is adult-only — children are never users or account holders. Only parents or legal guardians (18+) can create accounts and submit entries. We display first names only (never full identities), watermark all photos, and review all submissions before they go live. Parents can request review, correction, or removal of their child's information at any time; display removal is immediate and full data purge completes within 30 days.

YOU DO! You retain full ownership and copyright of your baby's photos. By entering, you grant us a limited license to display the photo in the contest and for promotional purposes (with permission), but ownership always remains with you.

By entering the contest you grant us a license to use your photo for contest-related promotion — winner announcements, contest galleries, and social media spotlights for winners (including boosted posts, which are part of the winner prize). We do not use photos in unrelated paid advertising campaigns without separate consent. Parents can request removal of their entry at any time; see our Terms of Service for the full license terms.

Report it immediately to info@babyofthemonth.org. We take copyright violations seriously and will: investigate the theft, pursue legal action if warranted, help you file DMCA takedown notices, and ban the offending user permanently.
