Free Daily Votes: The Foundation
Open the baby's entry in the current contest, sign in to your own account, and complete email verification if prompted. The entry must be approved and the competition must still be accepting votes. Your voting controls show the free votes you have available.
- One free vote per baby, per day. You can support many different entries, but you cannot stack free votes on a single baby in the same day.
- The daily allowance resets at midnight Eastern Time. This follows the Eastern calendar day, including daylight saving time; it is not a rolling 24-hour wait after your last vote.

Casting free votes can earn credits under the current earning rules. Credits stay in your account until you choose to spend them; earning them does not automatically add votes to your baby's entry. When you use the credit-voting option, you choose an eligible entry and the number of whole credits to spend. How the Live Leaderboard Works
The leaderboard shows standings for the selected contest and division. The primary ranking factor is total votes. For monthly entry rankings, equal vote totals are ordered by the number of unique voters, then by earlier entry creation. Check that you are comparing the same contest and division when a rank looks different elsewhere.
Counts and ranks can update as votes are confirmed, but a slow connection or cached view may take a moment to catch up. A visible lead is not a confirmed win: after voting closes, results are reviewed before official winners are announced.
